Standard Caricatures are our go-to service. In just three minutes, Marietta can create an astoundingly detailed caricature on poster-sized 11x17" cardstock perfect for framing! Caricatures are perfect for all ages, from the tiniest to the wisest, making it a perfect hit at any event, from black-tie charity galas to professional tradeshows and elegant weddings to late-night project graduations. For entertainment and a party favor in one, we have you covered!
*2 hour minimum within the Kansas City Metro Area. Travel fees or higher minimum hours may apply to events outside of 45 miles of 64132.
Requirements
2 chairs per artist
A 6x6' cleared space per artist, preferably side-by-side
Protection from the sun and rain if outdoors

Add your logo, a QR code, or some text in black and white for just $20 per hour! Other options include color accents and themed borders!
Slipcovers
+$20/hr
Your guests will get their drawing home safely in these clear plastic covers. Slipcovers also allow for safe storage and add an elegant finishing touch!
Spotcolor
FREE! Just ask!
Add a pop of color with a little spotcolor! Choose one or two colors and allow your artist to pick the placement, from clothes to lips to hair!

Frequently Asked Questions
​Q. How does booking work?
A. A 50% deposit and signed contract secure your date with the remainder due the week prior to your event! This is all manageable via an online portal so you can book via your phone or computer for your convenience.
​Q. What is the difference between Standard Caricatures and Quick Caricatures?
A. Standard Caricatures take 3 minutes per person (or 20 people per hour) while Quick Caricatures take about 1 minute per person (or 50 people per hour). Standard Caricatures are on 11x17" while Quick Caricatures are on 8.5x11". Standard Caricatures are generally more detailed while Quick Caricatures are simplified for speed. Standard Caricatures are great for small to medium sized parties where details would be appreciated whereas Quick Caricatures are great for large parties where speed and efficiency are important!
Q. Do you have multiple artists available?
A. Yes! Marietta has a number of caricature artists on roster that can work with her given their availability! All artists bring their own supplies. Paper sizing, styles, and drawing times may vary.
Q. Do you know a face painter or balloon twister?
A. Yes! Marietta also has a roster of 50+ entertainers in the Kansas City area who can also work with her at your event. We have face painters, balloon twisters, airbrush tattoos, glitter tattoos, henna, magicians, and even Santa Claus - our staff can do it all!
Q. Do you do commissions?
A. No. Caricatures by Marietta is an event service dedicated to bringing you live art entertainment. That being said, we're happy to do house calls! We've attended a number of dinner parties and holiday family gatherings where caricatures were the primary focus. We're often far more economical than commissioning an artist - and we're fun during the process too! And remember - Marietta is happy to travel nationwide!
