Yes, there is a Marietta.
No, she doesn't clone herself for every event (turns out, that's expensive).
What began in 2003 as one artist drawing guests at a theme park has grown into a full team of professional caricature artists serving events across Kansas City and beyond. The name stuck - not because it’s a one-woman show, but because it's a name people recognize after 23 years. It represents the standard the company was built on: Speed, consistency, guest connection, and a healthy dose of personality!





How it's Going!

Since launching full-time event services in 2011, we've grown into a trusted team serving more than 500 events a year across the Kansas City metro and more (that probably explains our strong forearms). Our company has proudly served organizations ranging from Nike to Nascar, Petco to Zoom - plus local organizations like the Kansas City Power and Light District and the Mid-Continent Public Library!
Trade shows. Galas. Festivals. Corporate activations. Weddings. Birthday parties. Whether your event is a big brand or a backyard party with ambitious guest count, we show up with the same energy, the same standards, and a healthy respect for the number of markers we decimate.

Every artist on our roster is vetted for speed, quality, guest interaction, and professionalism. We don't just draw well - we know how to read a room, manage a line, keep things moving, and navigate the “Can you make my nose smaller?” conversation with grace. We aim to be the vendor that gives you all the information - from setup requirements to getting the most out of our services. Our artists show up prepared, set up smoothly, deliver fantastic artwork and conversation, and leave the space exactly as they found it.

We confirm staff availability before booking, and assignments are finalized closer to your event date to ensure the artists you receive are the very best fit for your event - not assigned by dartboard (though that would make staff meetings more exciting).
And because live caricatures and fashion sketches at events are all we do, we’ve built our entire system around doing them exceptionally well. We don’t split our focus across entertainment services; we specialize - which means you’re booking a focused team built specifically for drawing at live events.

Founder & Creative Director
With 23 years of live event art experience, Marietta built the company on speed, organization, and a deep understanding of event logistics - plus an unwavering commitment to car karaoke that every staff artist has experienced at least once. A menace, really.
Her background includes eight years at a theme park with leadership roles, national travel, and volunteer work with organizations like The Superhero Project, along with more than two decades of drawing roughly 20,000 faces per year - which is either impressive or concerning. She is a member of the International Society of Caricature Artists and firmly believes that strong systems and even stronger coffee solve most problems.

Talent Operations Manager
With extensive experience in IT management, Aaron is professionally unshakeable. He has calmly handled everything from server meltdowns to "I clicked something and now it's gone." Live events? A piece of cake.
Aaron now oversees artist coordination and manages the behind-the-scenes logistics that keep events running without a hitch. From schedules to inventory, he makes sure we can focus on what we do best! On event days, he'll be your office point of contact, providing support whether your event is an early morning marathon or a late night after-prom. He's rarely in the spotlight but this is by design. If everything feels organized and calm, it's not an accident - it's an Aaron.

Alex has a long history of email domination, contract wrangling, and invoice wizardry, but don’t be fooled. They’re a chaos goblin in the best possible way, delighting in the whirlwind and turning potential messes into smooth operations (and occasionally laughing maniacally while doing it).
Before joining us, Alex mastered the front desk, which is basically advanced training for making calm out of chaos. They’re the first person you’ll hear from when requesting a quote, the Magic 8 Ball with answers to all your questions, and the mastermind behind preparing your client portal. Clever, relentless, and endlessly resourceful, Alex thrives in the frenzy and somehow makes it look effortless - and magical.
